01

Two Antique Armoires

The request

A client sought to restore two antique armoires to their original teak finish.

What we did

We addressed structural deformations, wood cracks, and hardware defects (hinges and handles) through repairs and replacements. Flaking old finishes were stripped off by sanding. After consulting with the client about wood stain choices, we applied a detailed hand-painted finish and delivered the armoires on the agreed date.

Antique Writing Bureau

The request

An experienced client entrusted us with her over 100-year-old family heirloom: an antique writing bureau. She wanted it restored, with a touch of colour added to its interior.

What we did

We inspected the bureau’s condition and determined the optimal approach. Only the defective hinges were replaced; everything else was repaired without using nails or screws. The old finish was carefully removed by hand. We suggested a suitable wood stain for the bureau’s type of wood and provided blue and gold colour samples for the interior. We executed the piece in hand-painted detail and delivered it on the agreed date.

03

Vintage Midcentury Modern Piano Desk

The request

Ever wanted a proper shaving station to store your razor and brush? A client in his 40s came to us to transform his beloved childhood treasure, a piano desk, into a stylish shaving station.

What we did

We evaluated the desk’s condition and added some midcentury style with new brass hardware. The client chose his favourite colour combination of grey and wood stains. We finished it off with our detailed hand-painted design and delivered it on the agreed date.
